During the first weekend of October another Train-the-Trainer event took place, this time for the Belgian Understanding Europe project in Brussels. The project strives to engage students in an open discussion concerning the current European issues and topics and to provide a basic understanding of the European Union.
During the event, the Trainers’ Team discovered the EU Crash Course materials and had the opportunity to simulate and reflect on the roles of both participants and trainers, to moderate a group of students, as well as to learn how to handle critical questions.
Last year marked the twenty year anniversary of EYP-Europolis Belgium and with it two decades of raising awareness regarding European topics, as well as improving the out box thinking and rhetorical skills amongst young people of Belgium.
