The EYP is partnering up with Insurance Europe

Insurance Europe is the European insurance and reinsurance federation. They raise awareness on insurance for a general audience, but also discuss different issues within insurance with internal platforms. The goal of the cooperation is to develop an open discussion on insurance, including pensions. The EYP will facilitate space for young people to share their views such as debates, surveys and policy presentations.

Concretely, we are cooperating with two committee topics of discussion at International Sessions Thessaloniki and The Hague, taking place in Summer 2024 and Spring 2025 to help raise awareness. In various ways, we will help Insurance Europe gain insight into young people’s views.

On the 30th of May, EYP’s executive director Anya Suprunenko attended the 14th international conference, kicking off the partnership. Here she spoke about young people’s needs and common obstacles in relation to insurance.
