Become a Rebuild Ukraine Ambassador!

We are excited to announce the return of the Rebuild Ukraine Ambassadors Programme for its second edition in 2024.

You can now apply to become one of 20 ambassadors dedicated to envisioning Ukraine’s reconstruction and recovery.

Application Deadline: Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 23:59 CET

Event Details:

• As an ambassador, you will join the Rebuild Ukraine Lab from October 11th to 13th.
• The event will be held in a hybrid format, with the majority of participants gathering in person in Berlin.
• For those unable or unwilling to leave Ukraine due to the ongoing war, we will provide the opportunity to join digitally.
• There will also be 2-3 digital preparatory meetings in September 2024.

Who Can Apply:

• We are aiming to have approximately a 50/50 split between Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian ambassadors.
• EYP members and non-EYPers
• Individuals passionate about Ukraine’s sustainable and innovative post-war recovery.
• Willing to conduct preparatory research and attend meetings.
• Committed to collaborating with other ambassadors and considering local perspectives.
• Available for the Rebuild Ukraine Lab and follow-up activities.
• Able to dedicate around 2 hours per week to the project until November.

Responsibilities:

• Develop sustainable rebuilding ideas with peers
• Consult with Ukrainian and European experts in energy, economics, and public administration
• Conceptualize follow-up activities and engage with European political decision-makers
• Serve as social media ambassadors to share ideas with local and pan-European stakeholders
• Optionally lead or mentor committees on this topic at further EYP events
