From April 29 to May 1st the EYP Council members met in Berlin. In multiple working groups they identified new goals and perspectives for the respective areas Regional Development, Training and Alumni Development, Academics and Education.
Among the topics discussed were the identification of training needs and the development of new training concepts (Training and Alumni Development), the intensification of regional representation and the EYP’s outreach (Regional Development), as well as perspectives to enhance the cooperation of National Committees with schools, i.e. by creating an EYP teachers’ network (Educational). The Academic Council dedicated time and effort to the contributions it can make to the improvement of International Sessions by offering a new range of guidelines and databases.
All in all, the exchange between all participants was very fruitful and promising.
