The International Forum “Agora on Security Kyiv” is taking place this week

ASK2014 is an International Forum organised by EYP Ukraine, gathering 150 Europeans to focus on the diversity of security perspectives within Europe. It is supported amongst others by the German Federal Foreign Office. The participants have arrived and enjoyed Teambuilding and Eurovillage on Monday, before attending Expert seminars and going into their Working Groups for the next days.

Between the 2nd and 9th of November 2014, Kyiv is a hot spot for discussions surrounding all the aspects of security today.

The topic of the Agora on Security Kyiv is “Re:think security policy – hack old paradigms”. ASK2014 focuses on the diversity of security perspectives within Europe and provides participants with the opportunity to actively live out democracy by raising their voices on divisive issues.

They shed light on these and other questions through discussions, panel debates, workshops and innovative activities, where our participants are given the unique opportunity to discuss and immerse themselves in the Agora’s topic.
