Help Shape the Future of EYP: Take the 2026 Member Survey!

The survey helps us understand the real impact of EYP. Who are we reaching? Which skills do members develop? How does EYP influence education, careers and civic engagement? Your answers help us understand what we’re doing well and where we can improve.

Last year, more than 800 members shared their experiences, giving us valuable insights into the EYP journey. Here’s what we learned:

• EYP contributes to participants’ skills development. Most respondents saw improvement in their public speaking skills, communication abilities, and teamwork.
• EYP events have an impact on participants’ knowledge. An overwhelming majority of respondents admit that EYP had at least some influence in their knowledge of socioeconomic and political issues and of EU Institutions and processes.
• EYPers stay socially and politically engaged beyond our events. Many are up to date with current affairs and discuss politics with others, and they actively take part in civil actions like volunteering, joining social movements, or engage in political initiatives for their local communities.
• EYP increases participant’s confidence in their political abilities. 90% of respondents believe that they can have an active role in political life, that is more than 50% points higher than the European youth average!
• EYP creates lasting impact. More than half of the employed respondents said that the skills, knowledge and values gained through EYP have influenced their current career choices
