The Governing Body of the European Youth Parliament, Berlin, January 2026.

The responsibilities of the Governing Body (GB) include ensuring the strategic development of the organisation, facilitating the work of the European Youth Parliament (EYP) on the international level, and overseeing the annual International Sessions. In collaboration with the National Committees and EYP members, it establishes guidelines that ensure the quality and safety of our activities.

The six members of the Governing Body are elected by the National Committees as well as EYP members on different dates, to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities and expertise. A representative of the Schwarzkopf Foundation, as well as the EYP’s Executive Director, are part of the international board. The EYP’s Executive Director participates in every meeting.
