Workshop “Youth on Energy” at the EU Sustainable Energy Week in Brussels

Gathering 20 young people from around Europe from the Power Shifts project to offer their perspective on the future of energy in Europe, the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) kicked off with a special workshop “Youth on Energy”, inspired by the European Commission’s proposed package on “Clean Energy for all Europeans”. 10 claims were formulated in 4 topic clusters and sent to the European Commission for their future work.

The workshop’s aim at EUSEW is to compile a list of future steps and viewpoints from the youth regarding current trends in European energy policy. They will take into consideration discussions already held within the Power Shifts project. The event is coordinated by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) and organised in conjunction with the European Youth Parliament.
