Meet the people behind the 102nd flagship event of the EYP network, which will take place in The Hague in 2025.
It is with great excitement that we announce – the 102nd flagship event of the EYP network will be going to The Hague in 2025, organised by EYP the Netherlands! We congratulate the National Committee, as well as the volunteers who get to create this special project! We are very happy to introduce to you and share the words of Head-Organisers Bente Presse and Yu Vos.
“We are so excited and honoured to be addressing you as the Head-Organisers of The Hague – 102nd International Session of the EYP!
The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The creation of the European institutions in the middle of the last century was, and still is, primarily a peace project which has brought extended periods of stability and peace to the continent. However, Europe has since also seen many different forms of violence that have threatened our freedom and integrity. We envision The Hague 2025 to be a moment where we reflect on the meaning of peace, security, and justice and empower participants to become ambassadors of peace in their everyday lives.
As an international hub for diplomacy, security, and international law, the city of The Hague is the perfect location to put this vision into practice. We are very excited to show you all that it has to offer and hope to see you in the Netherlands in Spring 2025.”
