Throughout 2019, all actors of international governance, National Committees, the Governing Body and the International Office have put efforts into ensuring EYP continues to be and always improves as a safe and welcoming environment for all.
From workshops with committees and officials teams in International Sessions, thematic flyers, presentations and discussions in events, to Event Safe Persons in all events and a network of National Safe Persons set up, we have seen great emphasis put this year on communicating and educating EYPers on behaviors that have no place in EYP, such as bullying, harassment and assault, and how to respond if something occurs, so that together we can ensure EYP remains a space where everyone can thrive in. We are grateful and inspired by the determination we see to safeguard and improve the experience of all young people joining our organisation.
