Spring Board of National Committees Meeting 2023

This important network event brought together important stakeholders of the EYP network: representatives from nearly 30 countries along with the BNC Board, representatives of the Governing Body, and the International Office. The primary focus was on discussing policy updates and exchanging ideas about the state of the network. These discussions gave the boards of the national member organisations, run by dedicated volunteers, a chance to discuss and vote on proposals and policies that would advance the network.

The Board of National Committees serves as the general assembly of National Committees and represents them at the international level. This board has full co-decision powers with the Governing Body, meaning that any policy proposals from the Governing Body must first be approved by the Board of National Committees. This board can also take the initiative to propose and recommend changes to the Governing Body. Find out more about how our organisation works here:

The meeting included 9 workshops, 17 policy proposals, and 6 topics of debate, in addition to updates from the Governing Body, the International Office, and the Board of National Committees. The gathering also provided an opportunity for representatives to engage in knowledge-sharing and networking, aiming to promote even more cooperation in the future.
