We had an amazing opportunity to get in touch with three EYP Alumni who are currently working at different consultancy agencies and ask them about their work and their time with EYP. Here’s what Gillian O’Halloran (IE), Maria Heiss (UA) and Marko Fischer (DE) said:

The European Youth Parliament network (EYP) brings young people across Europe together. But what exactly are the participants doing in and outside of our events, what are the main skills you practice, and why do young people stay involved?

The National Committees and the International Office of the European Youth Parliament organise almost 500 events annually, all run by voluntary young people. The types of events are as diverse  as the places they’re organised in. Here’s an insight into the different events organised by the European Youth Parliaments outside of 

Across 40 countries, young people are the ones who plan and implement all activities within the European Youth Parliament network. On an international level, the European Youth Parliament is governed by an international board. The Governing Body is elected annually by the members of the National Committees and by the participants of the International Sessions, the biggest events of the network. But who are the people leading to work of the network now?
