The Rebuild Ukraine Ambassadors Programme: Driving Change in its Third Edition

30 young Europeans have been selected for the third edition of the Rebuild Ukraine Ambassadors Programme, focusing on sustainable solutions for Ukraine’s reconstruction, with an in-person Rebuild Ukraine Lab in Brașov and a study visit to Lviv.

The third edition of the Rebuild Ukraine Ambassadors Programme is in full motion.

We were delighted to receive over 100 strong and highly motivated applications to join this year’s edition as Rebuild Ukraine Ambassadors. The final cohort brings together a diverse group of thirty young Europeans – including both Ukrainians and peers from across Europe – with a mix of new Ambassadors joining the programme for the first time and returning Ambassadors continuing their engagement from previous editions.

A Platform for Youth-Driven Reconstruction

Run by the European Youth Parliament, the Rebuild Ukraine Ambassadors Programme empowers young changemakers to contribute to Ukraine’s post-war recovery with a focus on sustainability, resilience, and inclusion. Combining expert input, peer exchange, and youth-led policy work, the initiative gives participants the tools and platform to co-author a vision paper each year, ensuring that youth perspectives are heard in policy discussions on Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Outlook 2025: From the Rebuild Ukraine Lab to the First-Ever Study Visit

This year’s Ambassadors will attend the Rebuild Ukraine Lab from 9 to 12 October 2025 in Brașov, Romania, hosted by EYP Romania. Over the course of four days, Ambassadors will take part in facilitated workshops, expert-led sessions, and international working groups to explore key themes of Ukraine’s sustainable recovery.

Following that, a special addition to the programme will be the first-ever field-based study visit to Lviv, Ukraine, from 12 to 16 October 2025, hosted by EYP Ukraine. The visit is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of local recovery efforts through direct engagement with the people and organisations driving change on the ground. The programme will include site visits to reconstruction projects, meetings with regional authorities, discussions with civil society organisations and youth initiatives, and exchanges with cultural institutions. These experiences will allow the Ambassadors to connect their policy work with lived realities, ask questions, and gather valuable insights into the practical challenges and opportunities of rebuilding in the Ukrainian context.

We are truly excited to see the impact this year’s cohort will have and can’t wait to see the programme grow with the new contributions from our 2025 Ambassadors.
