Funding opportunities

Running a youth-led organisation requires sustainable resources and funding. The International Office of the European Youth Parliament in collaboration with 40 national organisations manages the following fundraising opportunities. Click below if you would like to support the EYP with a direct donation.

NC Support Fund

National Committee (NC) Support Fund is a mini-grant programme of the EYP International Office, supporting EYP National Committees to do their work in the best possible way. Since it was launched in 2015, more than 50 projects have been supported in 20 countries. We support initiatives aimed at strengthening EYP diversity, capacity building and training, covering costs and legal fees, ensuring sustainability, raising awareness of refugee and stateless persons’ issues.

Power Shifts Fund

In a frame of the Power Shifts – Reflecting Europe’s Energy project in cooperation with innogy Stiftung für Energie und Gesellschaft (innogy foundation) we provide up to 7 funds for the national EYP organisation to foster the debate about energy on all levels – from the regional and national level up to the international level. The fund enables national organisations across Europe to educate young people about pressing energy-related issues. Since the project’s start, more than 15 sessions have received the support.

Sparkasse Fund

In a collaboration with the European Retail and Savings Banks Group (ESBG) and the German Savings Banks Association (DSGV), we are bringing topics around financial policy and regulation to our International Sessions, and participants have the chance to engage with experts from the field of finances and banking.

Alumni fundraising

In more than 30 years of its existence, the alumni network of EYPer’s has grown to more than 200 000 people. They continually support the EYP through a crowdfunding campaign which aims at strengthening the mobility & inclusion in the EYP. The EYP also alumni initiated a mentorship programme and support active volunteers in a transition phasee between studies and job. Our alumni also act as “door openers” connecting their networks and employers with the EYP.

EYP fundraising materials

In order to support the National Committees in their fundraising efforts, the International Office of EYP prepared a selection of materials available on the Member Platform. EYP volunteers can access information materials, webinars about grant writing and fundraising, guides, templates and a list of partners.
