Last weekend the organisers, chairs and media team members of the Laax 2016 - 83rd International Session of the European Youth Parliament met in the beautiful Swiss mountains close to Basel in order to prepare the programme ahead of the session in October.

The Belgrade International Forum which is hosted by EYP Serbia and supported by the German OSCE Chairmanship is fast approaching. You can now have a look at the topics which will be discussed by the Forums 150 young participants from Europe, the USA, Canada and Central Asian countries.
26 Jul 82nd International Session in Rennes – Debates, Trilingualism, and Cultural Exchange
Last Friday, the 82nd International Session of the EYP in Rennes came to an end with one of its highlights, the General Assembly, in which 300 young participants held trilingual debates on various topics such as the EU-Turkey Joint Action Plan, social entrepreneurship, and the fair distribution of natural resources.

01 Jun Training for EU Crash Course trainers in Baku, Azerbaijan
From May 20-22 a capacity training for new EU Crash Course trainers took place in Baku, Azerbaijan. The project is implemented as a cooperation of the Understanding Europe team at the Schwarzkopf Foundation together with European Youth Parliament Azerbaijan in order to establish a basic understanding of European politics amongst pupils in the Caucasus region to enable them to have a more holistic and comprehensive understanding of the EU and its neigbour countries.
03 May Successful international Council Meetings in Berlin
From April 29 to May 1st the EYP Council members met in Berlin. In multiple working groups they identified new goals and perspectives for the respective areas Regional Development, Training and Alumni Development, Academics and Education.
