The Governing Body is the international board of EYP. The GB directs the organisation and is responsible for the strategic development of the EYP. One of the biggest achievements of the  last GB is the implementation of the EYP´s International Strategy. For further information about the International Strategy, click here.

Terrorism. Peace. Pollution. Stability. As one reads through the cards stuck to the flipchart, it becomes quickly clear how differently we think about the concept of "security". Influenced by our environment, fields of studies and national contexts, we tend to emphasise certain security topics over others. At the same time, everyone has an opinion on security.

During the first weekend of October another Train-the-Trainer event took place, this time for the Belgian Understanding Europe project in Brussels. The project strives to engage students in an open discussion concerning the current European issues and topics and to provide a basic understanding of the European Union.

The second edition of our two International Forums focusing specifically on security-related issues has started in Belgrade! The International Forum is hosted by our national committee EYP Serbia, and is fully supported by the German Chairmanship of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 2016. What is special about the International Forum is also its scope of participants: 20 delegates are representing OSCE countries outside of Europe, namely the USA, Canada, Kyrgyztan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan at the session.
