Between 21 and 23 November 2014, almost 30 participants from 20 countries gathered in Berlin at the International Office of the EYP to share best practices and learn more about grants and opportunities during the Fundraising Summit. They discussed the Erasmus+ programme, sustainable partnerships with sponsors, cooperation between countries and much more.

The Governing Body is the international board of the EYP. No less than 694 alumni have cast their vote in the elections between 18 and 24 November 2014 and we are now happy to announce that Anya Suprunenko, Sophie Hall and Hans Maes are elected to the GB. They will join Jari Marjelund, Zahra Runderkamp, Magnus Hall and André Schmitz-Schwarzkopf on the 1st of January for a term of two years. You can read more about the election results here.

ASK2014 is an International Forum organised by EYP Ukraine, gathering 150 Europeans to focus on the diversity of security perspectives within Europe. It is supported amongst others by the German Federal Foreign Office. The participants have arrived and enjoyed Teambuilding and Eurovillage on Monday, before attending Expert seminars and going into their Working Groups for the next days.

Two months before the prize ceremony for the Young European of the year 2014, we now call for nominations for the prize of the Young European of the Year 2015. This prize is handed out by the Schwarzkopf Stiftung Junges Europa, the international umbrella organisation of the EYP. We are looking for young people from Europe between the ages of 18 and 26. She or he should have worked in an honorary capacity towards the understanding between peoples and/or European integration and in the process have achieved exemplary success: Young people who have learned to act with initiative, personal commitment and a sense of responsibility, thus showing they are prepared to grasp the opportunities of our time in forging peaceful coexistence in a Europe of diversity.
